Vicki--Great!
I'll be glad to skype as soon as I have a kid set that up on the new machines, if that's what I need to do. The format of the presentations vary and the conference accommodates AV needs as you let them know. I'll have Jeff Browne here tomorrow and will tell him iti's a good possibility and we can go from there.

Hi there, name-mate!
We have our state journalism fall conferences at kSU on Sept 21. Would you feel like you could be scheduled for a 50-minute presentation about CKV and how it could be used to supplement the reporting journalists are already doing, especially with the sesquicentennial next January?

Cyndi is mother of the bride 14 days or so later and has all-day class assignments and can't break free to do it. Jackie and I are simply too far west for this present budget world to make it feasible. However, we will introduce the concept at the Fort Hays conference, so we will post some new items on the CKV site that you could use. At least one will be a PSA about the general concept with interview info from Wesley, another will be a WWII one that would apply to KS history celebration, and my journalists are working one some Kansas Roots pieces. Of course, you have your own great library one and some others on the site.

Cyndi is exploring a workshop for journalism folks for next summer, so that could be promo-ed. However, until after the wedding, I don't think she has time to think. Would your district let you go to be a celebrity and lead a session? You're a natural. The www.kspaonline.org site has top buttons for fall workshops and schedules posted. The KU people would also like a presenter on the 20th, but that's a ways from you. Let me know what you think. And thanks for the quick communication.

Oh--if your kidlets' schedules allow, tune in to NBC evening news at 5:30 Friday for a glimpse of Phillipsburg and its involvement in curriculum designed for distribution on the 10th anniversary of 9-11. We're excited.
